I’ve been approaching this year’s journey like the 4 quarters of a basketball game. Yet this is not just a regular season game, this is a crucial play off game in the second round…
The San Antonio Spurs (The good guys) have come out clicking on all cylinders. The ball is moving as if it’s magitized and the rim seems to have expanded just for them/us. The Spurs went into the second quarter up by 11 pts but they cannot ease their foot off the peddle, for The wiley Dallas Mavericks (The Road/The Elements) are no slouches and Dirk is just waiting for Duncan to take his customary 2nd quarter break.
I’ve notched 800 kilometers in 17 days and now we’re nearing halftime (The 1000 mark) Sometimes I’m numbed to it and sometimes I’m beside myself… Quebec driving culture as I’ve been warned is very intense and aggressive even when I go out of my way to not be in the way I still get the angry honks and those comical loud engine revvings.
Like Tim Duncan I must only keep/give focus on the greater goal and not get sucked in. I conduct myself like a visitor in somebody else’s home and on the other side of things that has granted wonderful French Canadian hospitality.
Thinking very often of my friends and loved ones back home thank you from the bottom of my heart to those whom have been supporting PushingCanada26
Blessings from somewhere on the south shore of the St Lawrence 🙏🏁💐
