Much of what is now behind me feels like a blur sometimes I walk about these little towns and I think “am I even here?” It can really feel like a waking dream.
highlights? Pushing Canada finally got it’s first skitch (skitching is getting towed by a vehicle on a skateboard) A black Mini covered in spray paint driven by a man dressed exactly like Where’s Waldo (I couldn’t make this up if I tried) “you want a tow?” How could I say no.
My right hand firmly gripped the wheel well and I told Waldo to start slow then let her rip. Notched about 70kmph and let go when my board began shaking.and my skateboarding instincts told me to.
Waldo gave a friendly wave and sped off. I coasted about 2 kms without moving a muscle…More Canadian kindness “free speed” and tremendous momentum 🏁
here’s some pictures from the road I love you all
