Well I never thought skating 70km in day would be considered “mellow”
Now that everything is flat and the shoulders have mercifully improved it seemed like after a couple episodes of The Bunt and some water/food stops I arrived from Regina to MJ much quicker than I thought I would. Moose Jaw is a lovely, quiet, clean, friendly little city. The skate park here is straight out of the mid 90s and it’s keeping me here an extra day as I’m about to go back and skate it right after I finish this update! here’s some glimpses of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan… enjoy!

Trying to make it to town before nightfall…

I haven’t skated a big handrail in years yet all of us skaters notice these giant gems, Nyjah or Foy… I think of these skaters when I see rails like this.

This is just one side of the MJ local park this taco/wave you rarely see in modern park design. The coat hanger copping and mellow gradual transitions are right up my alley “puttering”
All thanks to a very kind local skater and a new friend for bringing me to the sacred ground…
